01 Do you support Dentrix, ClearDent and AbelDent?
Yes. Dentrix is the most common practice management software we see in Eastern Ontario clinics, and we also support ClearDent, AbelDent and the cloud-based practice platforms some clinics are moving to. We handle installation, updates, server configuration and integration between your charting, imaging and billing software. When an update goes sideways, we call the vendor's support directly, fix the issue and document the steps so we can prevent or resolve the next issue even quicker.
02 Can you help us with compliance and insurance requirements?
Yes. We design your IT systems to specifically match your insurance and compliance requirements. Encryption, access controls, audit logs, Canadian-based cloud backups and staff training are all part of the core setup. We help you keep the policies and documentation your insurance carrier or a PHIPA review may ask for.
03 What happens if ransomware hits our patient records?
Our job is to prevent that. We run layered defences, tested offsite backups and a practiced incident response plan that we can run tabletops against if your insurance carrier requires it. If the worst happens, we restore your patient charts and practice management data from clean backups usually within hours, and full operatory workstation images the same day, without paying the ransom.
04 Can you help during an operatory emergency?
Yes. A computer going down with a patient in the chair is an emergency on our end too, and we triage accordingly. Dental software is notorious for piles of configuration files and settings that take hours to set up from scratch, so our managed clients are all set up with full-disk image backups. If a workstation dies, we can usually restore the exact configuration to a new machine the same day rather than rebuild from zero.
05 How do you secure patient data and imaging?
Encrypted storage on your servers and imaging drives, encrypted email for sensitive exchanges and controlled access so only authorized staff see patient records. We also train your team on phishing and social engineering attacks that target dental clinics.
