01 How is a Priority plan different from residential Starlink?
Priority plans get higher priority on the Starlink network, better speeds during congestion, optional static IP addresses and a higher hardware tier. For most office, job site or rural business use cases the difference is real, especially during peak hours and for anything you host or reach from outside.
02 Can Starlink replace our existing internet?
For many rural businesses, yes. For others it's better used as a backup to your primary connection so the business stays online if the main link drops. We'll talk through which makes more sense for your situation, including dual-WAN failover setups that use both at once.
03 Will VoIP and video calls work well on Starlink?
Yes, when the network behind it is configured for voice. We tune quality of service so phone calls and video meetings get prioritised, which means clear calls even when the office is also pushing big file uploads. This is the part where the network setup matters as much as the dish.
04 Do you offer Starlink for construction or remote sites?
Yes. Construction site trailers, farm operations, warehouses and remote facilities are some of our most common business installs. For builders running a site office out of a trailer, we set Starlink up on arrival and redeploy it to the next project when the job wraps. Secure mounts, tested connectivity, working the day the trailer rolls in.
05 Can we get a static IP address?
Yes, on the Starlink Priority plan. Useful if you host services that need to be reached from outside, run a VPN gateway, need stable allow-listing for partner networks or want to access security cameras remotely.
06 What about pairing Starlink with our existing fibre or cable?
Common setup. Often the main reason a business calls us. We use a dual-WAN business firewall that load-balances across both connections and fails over instantly if one drops. Your team does not notice when one link goes down. It is worth doing even if your primary internet is reliable, because fibre and cable depend on physical lines at the road that get cut by contractors or damaged in storms. Starlink gives you an entirely separate path, so a dig-up outside does not take your operations offline.
07 Do you handle the Starlink account and billing?
You own the Starlink account directly, which keeps the hardware and service tied to your business for tax and contract purposes. We handle the install, the network configuration and the ongoing support.
