01 Can you update our existing website, or do we need a full rebuild?
Both are on the table. If the site is on a current version of WordPress and the structure is sound, we can often refresh the look, rewrite the content and fix the SEO without throwing everything out. If the site is held together with abandoned plugins and a custom theme from 2014, a rebuild is usually faster and cheaper than patching. We will look at what you have and give you an honest recommendation.
02 WordPress, Shopify or something custom, which do I need?
WordPress is the right fit for most local businesses, service providers and content-driven sites. Shopify is built for standalone online stores. WooCommerce is often the right call if you already have a WordPress site and want to add products. A fully custom build makes sense when you have a specific workflow no off-the-shelf platform handles cleanly. We will tell you which path fits, even if it is the smaller invoice.
03 Will the website rank on Google and bring in real leads?
That is the whole point of hiring us instead of a pure designer. We do keyword research before the build so the pages target what people are really searching for, not what sounds clever. On launch we configure Google Search Console, Google Analytics and your Google Business Profile, all shared with you. Each month you get a report showing ranking changes, search traffic and new inquiries through the site, so you can actually see the work paying off.
04 Do you handle content, copy and graphic design?
Content and copy, yes. Some clients have a marketing person who hands us a brief, others want us to write the structure and core copy ourselves. For visual design we build clean, on-brand templates from your logo and style guide, or help you develop one if you do not have it yet. For a full rebrand or heavier creative work, we partner with designers we trust and manage the coordination.
05 How long does a website project take?
Faster than most agencies quote, in our experience. A focused brochure site can often be completed in a week or two provided the final content is reviewed and approved. Custom projects vary widely by scope. A simple tool to replace an old Microsoft Access database can come together in a few days. A large online store with thousands of products is a bigger conversation. We quote a realistic timeline up front.
06 Do you work with clients outside Kingston?
Yes. Most of the website work is delivered remotely so we work with businesses across Eastern Ontario and beyond. On-site meetings are easy for clients in Kingston, Gananoque, Brockville, Napanee, Belleville and Prince Edward County.
